Common questions

Can I buy materials from ASTEL Labs?

Not yet. ASTEL Labs is in prelaunch: nothing is offered for sale and there is no checkout. Supply will begin only once the legal, institutional and documentation requirements for each material are met.

Are the catalog entries real products?

They are demonstration records. Their identifiers (formula, molecular weight, CAS number) are taken from PubChem and cited. They are not inventory, and the lots on the demonstration page are fictional.

How do I get a certificate of analysis?

Enter the lot number from the label on the Batch Reports page. No authentic certificates have been published yet; each will appear there under its lot number once a laboratory has issued it.

Who tests the materials?

The testing programme has not been approved yet. When it is, every report will name the laboratory that performed the analysis. ASTEL Labs does not operate a laboratory.

Do I need an account to ask a question?

No. The form on this page is enough. Institutional access is only for organisations that need documents which are not public.

Can you advise on how to use a material?

No. Materials are described for in-vitro laboratory research only. We do not answer questions about use in humans or animals, dosing or preparation.
