Cellular & ageing research peptides

Research into cellular ageing draws on peptides and cofactors that sit at the centre of cell maintenance. Epitalon is the synthetic tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, modelled on a pineal-gland extract and studied in telomerase and cell-senescence research. NAD+ is the redox cofactor consumed by sirtuins and PARP enzymes, and MOTS-c is a mitochondria-encoded peptide studied in cellular energy signalling.

Glutathione, the tripeptide γ-Glu-Cys-Gly, is the cell's main thiol antioxidant and a standard reagent in oxidative-stress assays. Thymosin α1 is a 28-residue peptide first isolated from thymic tissue and studied in immunology research on T-cell and innate immune signalling.

Questions

More on ordering and shipping and batch reports.

Is NAD+ a peptide?

No. NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a dinucleotide cofactor, not a peptide. It is listed with peptides because it is used alongside them in cellular-metabolism research.

Can these peptides be used in people?

No. Every product is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. None is a drug, food, supplement or cosmetic, none is for use in people or animals, and we do not answer questions about amounts, preparation or administration.

Where are the certificates of analysis?

Each vial carries a lot number. Certificates of analysis are published on the batch-report page under that lot number as the testing laboratory issues them. Where a lot has no published report yet, the product page says so rather than showing placeholder results.
