Growth hormone secretagogue research peptides

Growth hormone secretagogues are peptides that act at the receptors controlling growth hormone release: the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) receptor and the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). They are standard reference ligands in pituitary and receptor-pharmacology research.

Sermorelin is GRF (1-29) amide, the shortest fully active fragment of GHRH. CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29) carries four amino-acid substitutions that make it more resistant to enzymatic cleavage than the native fragment. Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide first described as a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist. The pre-mixed CJC-1295 (no DAC) + ipamorelin vial pairs a ligand for each receptor.

Questions

More on ordering and shipping and batch reports.

What is the difference between CJC-1295 with and without DAC?

CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29) is the 29-residue peptide alone. CJC-1295 with DAC carries an added drug affinity complex, a reactive linker designed to bind albumin. They are different substances; ASTEL Labs currently lists the no-DAC form.

Can these peptides be used in people?

No. Every product is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. None is a drug, food, supplement or cosmetic, none is for use in people or animals, and we do not answer questions about amounts, preparation or administration.

Where are the certificates of analysis?

Each vial carries a lot number. Certificates of analysis are published on the batch-report page under that lot number as the testing laboratory issues them. Where a lot has no published report yet, the product page says so rather than showing placeholder results.
